<a href="http://www.gold.ac.uk/gds/">Janis Jefferies</a> is an artist writer and curator, Professor of Visual Arts at the Department of Computing, Goldsmiths University of London and Artistic Director of Goldsmiths Digital Studios. <a href="http://subtela.hexagram.ca/">Barbara Layne</a> is a Professor of Studio Arts at Concordia University in Montreal and a founding member of the Hexagram Institute for Media Arts and Technologies where she directs an electronic textiles lab, Studio subTela.
