Tobie Kerridge is a researcher and PhD candidate at Goldsmiths. He talked about a science and society project funded by the EPSRC. Material Beliefs is a network of scientists, engineers and designers exploring the interaction between silicon and cells. This is Laboratory research meets speculative design, leading to prototypes and public events, encouraging discussion about the social outcomes of technoscience.
