As a fantastic Christmas shin dig This Happened Bristol and the great folks at Bristol Interaction and Graphics Labs are holding an open lab where you lucky folks can come and see some brilliant projects, devices and research whilst meeting the people behind them. It will be a relatively relaxed affair without any formal talks and some aperitifs during and after. Oh and by the way, it’s free. It will be a great night and we hope as many of you as possible can make it. However, due to practical concerns we have to limit the number of people who can visit the lab, so grab a ticket quickly. We will be going for drinks after at the Ship Inn so if you can’t make it please do come and join us, it would be great to catch up and get any input for next year’s plans.
Grab your tickets; http://thishappenedbrs-dec4-2012.eventbrite.com/
We have to say a huge thank you to Sriram Subramanian and the rest of the team for hosting us. They are an incredibly open bunch of people and will ask you to fill in a form with answers to a few questions together with your details. We would really appreciate it if you could say thanks to them by filling these out. They are only going to be used to make the world a better place.
The Hard Facts
- Meet at the Merchant Venturer Building at 6.30pm sharp; http://goo.gl/ESrGv
- The entrance if you end up late is on Woodland Road not Park Row (you can also walk up the stairs by the side of Wills Memorial Building to get in; http://goo.gl/YMLyq).
- Please do do your best to turn up on time as it will make things a bit of a mare otherwise.
Look forward to seeing you all.
