Dennis Paul

Dennis Paul is a Gestalter, has two sons, lives in Berlin and works in his design practice The Product. In his work he investigates the relation between people and technology. In recent years he was engaged in installations in public space, physical interfaces and generative systems. He specifically likes to explore the playful and narratives qualities of responsive media. He strongly believes that technology must be a warm and emotional medium. His work has been exhibited internationally and received several awards.

Dennis Paul is professor for media and space at the University of the Arts Bremen (HFK). His focus areas are physical computing und HCI.

His talk is dubbed ‘Virtual Augmented Physical What? We Are Seriously Confused And Are Enjoying It!’ and features anecdotes and insights on the ‘Leave-A-Comment Toolkit’ project.
